Son of Man Information:
This piece is a spin-off of the story Tarzan, with a different look at the story and new characters. I was inspired to write this piece when I was watching the Disney movie Tarzan and the Phil Collins song 'Son of Man' started playing. Something that I learned about writing when doing this is that idea's can come from anywhere, and short tidbits such as this while they may not go anywhere, are important when practicing writing.

Chapter One Introduction:
This is the Chapter that follows the Prologue entitled 'Last Hope', now as the story opens we see the Narrator as a young man who is new to the city. Here we get a bit of an insight into how he thinks, and how other members of society act when they get an honour to come into the city for work. While it still needs a bit of work-and I'm sure to update this soon- this allows readers their first insight into what this world looks like. I feel like the Prologue to this story is going to keep me working, this Chapter was inspired by it. I feel the sense of writing I got out of this was that, revisions will defineatly make it better then what it is now.

Chapter One introduciton:
The story that begins her involves Irish Celtic and Druid mythology and religion. Piece, the character that you meet in the first few pages is the heir to the royal throne of the Sidhe (Sh-EE), He does not human, in fact he disposes them, he knows why he must protect them but wisees to spend ti me doing other 'more important' things. Aislinn is the girl he meets while walking back to the palace, while he doesn't know her name -obviously- as she is unconscious I happen to. She is a young Seer who was going to Ireland to visit her grandparents, she has a twin sister who had done the same but disappeared. Aislinn's family -at least the women- have the gift to see these Fae folk and sometimes they are called to the Fairy World. This story was inspired by my love of Celtic mythology, and by my religion being that I'm a Druid.

Chapter One: Starry Night, Introduction
I was inspired by a trip I took with a class to an art gallery, I began thinking about art and how much I enjoyed being involved in the arts. I also had been talking to a friend about Vincent van Gogh, and this idea just evolved into an idea for a story. The original intention for this was to be an introduction into how these famous artist travel through time in order to save famous work around the world, it was also meant to be a quick introduction into the mind and life of Vincent van Gogh -who just so happens to be my favorite artist. The change that occurred in this piece was that I realized how important studying history is to this work, while I plan to make Vincent's character my own, he still will have important aspects that bring the historic Vincent to life.

Prologue: Last Hope Introduciton
This is the beginning of a dystopian novel that I have begun working on; the intentions of this piece was that I was to write about the way I felt society would be in the future and what could have prevented this future from occurring. However in the story what happens is done because nothing had prevented this future from happening. I realized in the writing of this prologue that I write best in 3rd person or omniscient narrator. I feel as if a change that happened when I was writing this was that I expanded in the genre of dystopian, I usually write fantasy or Sci-fy so doing this was new to me and a welcome change.
