Well, to answer this question might cause me to meander through my thoughts looking for an answer.
...
No, I'm just kidding what keeps me writing is very simple. I love stories, you could say I'm absolutely mad about them. Ever since I was a kid, I had a knack for making up stories. These were not clever little lies to get me out of things. No these stories were created through my imagination to just invoke a sense of fantasy into my everyday life. The neighborhood kids loved how I was able to just create things out of little details around us.
The Irish have a saying that I feel fits very well with this love of story. The phrase is : "The gift of gab." it means -according to dictionary.cambridge.org: "the ability to speak easily and confidently in a way that makes people want to listen to you and believe you." This little ability I had when I was younger disappeared as I got older. I managed to get a good dose of stage fright as I grew up.
When this ability began to diminish I needed to find a way to to use my voice, and write my thought down and that is when I began to write. This is the reason I still write today, it allows me to use my voice without necessarily having to speak words allowed. If I didn't having writing, I would be very lost in this big ever growing world.
